AMWA Fellowships are awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the goals and activities of AMWA. Since joining AMWA in 2017, Kim has served on the Education Committee (2017-2018), the Annual Conference Program Committee (2022), and the Executive Council Apprenticeship Workgroup (2023-2024), which developed the AMWA Medical Writing Apprentice Program Framework. Additionally, Kim has led AMWA Workshops, education sessions, and roundtables at the annual conferences since 2018, and has developed several online learning modules. She was the AMWA Carolinas Chapter president in 2021 and 2022, and is currently the Chapter Volunteer Coordinator.
The AMWA Carolinas chapter is immensely grateful for Kim’s outstanding contributions. From her leadership roles within our chapter to her instrumental work on national committees and educational programs, her impact has been both significant and lasting. We are so proud to honor her achievements and celebrate this fellowship, which she has earned through her hard work and dedication.
Thank you, Kim, and congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment!
