Now accepting call for proposals!

The AMWA Carolinas Chapter Conference is now accepting session proposals for our upcoming hybrid conference to be held on May 15, 2026 at the North Carolina Biotech Center in Durham, North Carolina! We are looking for speakers to share their expertise through 1-hour educational session, lead engaging lunchtime roundtable discussions, or showcase new ideas in our innovation forum.

Presenter Benefits:

  • Educational Sessions: Full registration fee waiver
  • Roundtable Discussions: 50% discount on registration

Please note that travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the presenter.

Presenter Descriptions:

  • Educational session (non-promotional): Present a lecture of a topic of your choosing that would be helpful to medical writers.
  • Roundtable (non-promotional): Lead a structured but casual discussion over lunch with a group of 8-10 people on a topic relevant to medical writers.
  • Innovation Forum (promotional, for Platinum level sponsors only): Present a lecture to promote tools, services or other content targeted toward medical writers. This requires Platinum sponsorship status and an additional fee.
