SUMMARY:AMWA Carolinas January Business Meeting
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Annual Business Meeting took place on Jan 28. During this meeting we met the 2025 Board of Directors\, caught up with accomplishments from 2024\, heard the treasurer report\, a summary of the 2024 Carolinas chapter survey and AMWA national 2024 compensation survey results\, and previewed our plans for 2025. We held our first quarterly journal club of the year where we discussed the following article from the 2024 Winter issue of the AMWA Journal: “Growth of Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Real-World Evidence in Medical Communication\, and Opportunities for Medical Writers”\, written by Tom Drake and Lisa Baker.
