Be a Leader at the Regional Conference!

Lunch roundtables are a low-key, personal way to share your knowledge on a prefessional topic or to organize a discussion of an issue that’s troubling you.

To be considered as a roundtable host at the AMWA Carolinas Regional Conference on May 3, 2019, please contact our Chapter President, Jill Moffett (cpresident@amwacarolinas.org), to propose a topic.

We need to hear from you as soon as possible, but not later than the end of January.

Are you interested in taking the BELS exam in Chapel Hill?

The Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) certification is different from AMWA’s MWC(c) dredential, but like the MWC, it requires an exam. BELS is willing to proctor the exam for us in Chapel Hill the same weekend as the AMWA Carolinas Regional Conference (May 3, 2019), but advance planning is required–both by you and your local leadership team.

If you are interested in taking the BELS exam, that weekend, please contact our Chapter President, Jill Moffett (cpresident@amwacarolinas.org).  We are still fleshing out the details; you won’t need to commit until March, but we do need to gauge interest. See www.bels.org for more information.
